Cortébert sits at the Swiss Made end of our counter. That is a claim about a marking on a dial, and we make it because we have held every one of these cases and read it, not because a supplier photograph said so. What follows is what each watch actually is.
The Oval Moonphase
The Cortébert Oval Moonphase at 141 euro (13,000 L) is a polished oval steel case on a black leather strap with a pin buckle. The champagne dial carries Roman numerals, a day subdial, a pointer date subdial and a moon phase window at six. It is the only moon phase on our counter, and it is the watch people stop at when they are walking past rather than shopping.
The Black Bezel Chronograph
The Cortébert Black Bezel Chronograph at 249 euro (23,000 L) is the dearest watch we sell and the heaviest thing on the counter. The black bezel is held by six exposed screws, the white dial runs three counters with a day indicator and a date window, and it sits on a two-tone black and steel bracelet. The pushers work: this is a chronograph, not a dial that looks like one.
If you already know roughly what you want, this is the one we reach for first.
The Rectangular Multifunction
The Cortébert Rectangular Multifunction is a curved rectangular steel case on a black leather strap, with a black textured dial carrying a day counter, a date counter and a 24 hour counter, applied batons and Arabic numerals at twelve, five and seven. This one is priced on request rather than on the shelf, so message us and we will tell you where it lands.
What We Will Not Tell You About Cortébert
We do not publish a movement for this brand and we do not publish a water resistance figure, because we have not verified either. Plenty of shops would print both. We would rather you brought the watch to the counter and had us read you what the caseback says, which takes a minute and is true.
What does come with every one: bracelet and strap work done at our counter, a 1-year guarantee, and cash on delivery anywhere in Albania. If you ordered online you are still welcome to walk in and have it sized.
If you want the one at the top of our counter rather than the whole brand, this is it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Cortébert a Swiss watch?
Every Cortébert we hold carries the Swiss Made marking on the dial, and we check that with the case in hand rather than reading it off a photograph. That is the claim we make and the only one we can stand behind.
How much does a Cortébert cost in Albania?
The Oval Moonphase is 141 euro (13,000 L) and the Black Bezel Chronograph is 249 euro (23,000 L), which makes it the dearest watch we sell. The Rectangular Multifunction is priced on request, so ask us.
Is the Black Bezel Chronograph a real chronograph?
Yes. The pushers work, and the dial carries three counters with a day indicator and a date window. We separate real chronographs from lookalikes on this site because we got that wrong once and do not intend to again.
What do you not publish about Cortébert?
The movement and any water resistance figure. We have not verified either for this brand, so we do not state them. Bring the question to the counter and we will read you what the caseback actually says.
