Most women's watches in our shop go out the door twice: once tried on, once bought. The range is smaller than the men's wall but sharper, gold-tone dress pieces, slim steel and the mother-of-pearl Hislons, and every model below is in stock in Durrës right now, priced in euro and Lekë.

In short: gold-tone dress watches start at 59 euro (5,700 L) with Philippe Lauren, the most gifted model is the Daniel Klein Premium Gold Tonneau at 75 euro (7,300 L), and the step up is the Hislon Classic Queen line from 149 euro (14,500 L) with mother-of-pearl and sapphire.

Gold-Tone from €59: The Heart of the Range

Gold on the wrist is what most customers ask for first. The Philippe Lauren Gold Classic at 59 euro (5,700 L) is a small round case with a silver sunburst dial, quiet and easy to wear daily. Its sister, the Gold Square Crystal at the same 59 euro (5,700 L), swaps round for square and adds a crystal-set bezel for sparkle. Navimarine takes the same idea further at 65 euro (6,300 L): the NVM141-A1 pairs a crystal-set bezel with a champagne dial and gold Roman numerals, and the NM282-04 puts one on a two-tone cushion-square case with a deep green dial. The Bigotti Gold Black Dial at 69 euro (6,700 L) is the black-and-gold pairing, and the Daniel Klein Premium Gold Tonneau at 75 euro (7,300 L), with its wave-textured silver dial and tonneau case, is the watch we wrap as a gift more than any other. At the same 75 euro (7,300 L) the Navimarine NM229-06 is the two-tone alternative, a square case with a white dial and black Roman numerals. Above them sit the most jewellery-like watches we stock, 85 euro (8,200 L) each: the NM268-06 with a curved case and a blue sunburst dial, and the NMM1013 with a green malachite-look dial. Worth knowing: gold-tone means plated steel, so keep these out of salt water to protect the finish.

Slim and Understated

Not everyone wants gold. Newest on the counter are the Philippe Lauren steel dress watches, none of them with a date. The Steel Crystal Blue at 52 euro (5,000 L) is the least expensive watch in the whole women's range: a crystal-set bezel in two rows, a deep blue sunburst dial with crystal indices, slim polished baton hands and a five-link polished bracelet. The Steel Classic at 58 euro (5,600 L) is the plain version of the same idea, a silver sunburst dial with applied slim baton indices on that bracelet, and the Steel Rectangular at 58 euro (5,600 L) is the shape break, a rectangular case with bevelled cut corners on the bezel and the bracelet link screws left on show. Also new are the square Bigottis at 77 euro (7,500 L) each, the Steel Square Crystal in polished steel with a silver sunburst dial and the Gold Square Crystal in gold-tone with a glossy black one, both with a crystal-set bezel on all four sides. The rest of the range is in the shop under Bigotti. Beside them the Daniel Klein Premium Steel Crystal at 59 euro (5,700 L) is the round alternative, polished steel with eight crystal-set hour markers. The Daniel Klein F at 60 euro (5,800 L) is a slim steel case with a soft white sunburst dial and rose gold-tone indices, one of the lightest watches on the counter. The Daniel Klein Premium Roman at 69 euro (6,700 L) takes the classic route: cream dial, black Roman numerals, blued hands, on a slim polished case that reads quiet and classic whoever wears it.

The Step Up: Hislon Classic Queens

From €149 the finishing changes class. The Hislon Women Classic Queen at 149 euro (14,500 L) is steel with a mother-of-pearl dial, crystal indices and a sapphire crystal that keeps it looking new. The Classic Queen in full gold-tone at 169 euro (16,400 L) carries the same mother-of-pearl face, and the Classic Queen in rose gold-tone at 189 euro (18,300 L) tops the line. Being straight, as always: the extra money buys the finishing, mother-of-pearl, crystal indices, sapphire, not better timekeeping. Every watch here runs reliable quartz.

Tip: the bracelet is adjustable and we size it free at the counter, whether you buy here or order online. Unsure which to pick? Send us a WhatsApp photo of a watch she already wears and we will point you at the closest thing on the shelf.
