You Do Not Need to Leave Your Watch With Us

Most places that do watch battery replacements ask you to leave the watch and collect it later. We do not work that way. At Iglisi Watch, battery replacements are done while you wait. You hand the watch over at the counter, take a seat, and it is back on your wrist within 10 to 15 minutes.

We have been doing this in Durrës since 2009. The process is fast because we keep a full stock of batteries for all common quartz movements and handle these repairs daily.

Any brand, any watch. You do not need to have bought your watch from us. We replace batteries in all quartz watches - from a €60 Hislon to a Tissot, Seiko, Casio, Citizen, or any other brand you walk in with.

What the Service Includes

Correct battery for your movement

We identify the exact cell your movement requires and fit it fresh from sealed stock. We do not use old or repackaged batteries.

Gasket inspection

Every time we open a case we check the gasket - the rubber seal that keeps moisture out. If it is cracked or flattened, we flag it before resealing. A failed gasket is the most common reason water gets into a watch after a battery change.

Function check before handover

We confirm the watch is running correctly before giving it back. If anything looks off - an irregular tick, a non-responsive crown, a display anomaly - we tell you before you leave.

Case properly resealed

The case back is torqued to the correct pressure for your specific model. Over-tightening damages the threads; under-tightening compromises the seal. We do this correctly every time.

Which Watches We Service

If it runs on a battery, we can change it. This includes:

Watches with solar movements (such as Seiko Solar or Citizen Eco-Drive) do not use a replaceable battery in the traditional sense and work differently - if you have one and it is losing charge, bring it in and we will assess it separately.

Not sure if your watch is quartz or mechanical? A simple way to check: if the seconds hand moves in a smooth, continuous sweep, it is likely mechanical. If it ticks once per second, it is quartz. When in doubt, bring it in and we will identify the movement type for free.

When to Come In

There is no best time to come - walk in any day that suits you. A few practical notes:

A note on DIY battery changes. Watch cases require the right tools to open properly - a case knife or press, not a coin or screwdriver. Improvised openings damage the case back threads and the gasket groove, which can make the watch impossible to seal correctly afterwards. The cost of a professional battery change is modest. The cost of a case back that no longer seals is not.

How Much Does It Cost?

Battery replacement pricing varies slightly depending on the watch model, the cell required, and whether the gasket needs attention. We are transparent about pricing before we start - if you ask us the cost when you arrive, we will tell you before we touch the watch.

As a general indication, standard quartz battery replacements are among the most affordable services a watchmaker offers. If you want a specific figure before visiting, send us a WhatsApp message with your watch model and we will give you an honest quote.
