About the Workshop
Iglisi Watch has operated in Durrës since 2009. We are a family-run workshop and shop on Rruga Aleksander Goga. We sell watches and we repair them. The same person who sells you a watch is familiar with the repair side of the business. That matters because the advice you get is honest: we will tell you if a watch is worth repairing and if it is not.
We repair watches from any brand. You do not need to have bought your watch from us to have it serviced here.
What Happens When You Bring a Watch In
First, we look at the watch with you. We ask what the problem is, inspect the piece, and assess what needs to be done. If the issue is obvious (battery dead, strap broken, crystal cracked), we tell you immediately and quote before touching anything. If the issue requires more investigation (movement fault, moisture ingress, regulation problem), we explain what we need to check and confirm the price before starting.
We do not start work without your agreement. That is a firm principle of how we operate.
Common Repairs and Typical Turnaround
Battery Replacement
Done while you wait. Typically 10–15 minutes. Includes a gasket inspection. We stock batteries for all common quartz movements.
Strap or Bracelet Work
Strap fitting, bracelet sizing, and clasp repair are done while you wait. Bring the watch and we will fit the strap or remove links on the spot. We stock a range of straps.
Crystal Replacement
If we have the right crystal in stock, same-day or next-day. For unusual sizes or shapes, we source and fit within a few days. We replace mineral and sapphire crystals.
Movement Overhaul
Full disassembly, cleaning, relubrication, and regulation. Typically 3–7 days depending on the movement complexity. We work on quartz and mechanical movements.
Watches We Cannot Repair In-House
We are honest about our limits. Watches requiring brand-specific parts that are not commercially available (certain proprietary movements, dial components for very recent luxury models) may need to go back to the manufacturer. We will tell you this clearly before taking the watch rather than attempting work we cannot complete properly.
Very high-end Swiss mechanical movements that require specialist equipment beyond what we hold may also be referred to a specialist. We will give you a fair assessment of whether that is the case for your watch.
Opening hours. Monday to Saturday, 8:30 to 20:30. No appointment needed for standard repairs. If you have an unusual or complex piece, a quick WhatsApp message before visiting allows us to ensure the right person is in the workshop when you arrive.
Coming from Outside Durrës
We have customers who travel from Tirana and other cities for repairs, particularly for pieces they trust to a workshop with a track record rather than an unknown jewellery shop. If you are coming from out of town, message us on WhatsApp first to confirm the issue is something we can handle and to plan the visit. We would rather you make one trip than two.
Not able to travel? For watches bought from us, we can in some cases arrange for the watch to be sent to us and returned to you. Ask us about this if you are far from Durrës and the repair cannot wait.
Repair Pricing: What to Expect
We quote before we start. Every repair is assessed individually, but the table below gives a realistic indication of typical costs for the most common work we carry out.

No surprise charges. Prices vary with movement complexity and parts availability. We always provide a firm quote before starting. If the cost changes during the repair for any reason, we contact you before proceeding.
Warranty on Repairs
We stand behind the work we do. Battery replacements carry a 12-month warranty against battery failure (excludes physical damage or moisture ingress after the replacement). Mechanical work - movement service, crystal replacement, strap fitting - carries a 6-month warranty on labour. If a problem we repaired recurs within the warranty period, bring the watch back and we will assess it at no additional charge.
Warranty does not cover damage caused after repair. A movement we serviced and certified water-resistant to 50m will need re-testing if the crown has been unscrewed or the case has received a significant impact. These are physical facts of how gaskets and case integrity work, not exclusions designed to avoid responsibility.
Watch Brands We Service
We work on watches from any brand. The movement type matters more than the name on the dial. Movements we service regularly include:
- Seiko - NH35, NH36, 4R and 6R automatic calibres; standard and solar quartz
- Citizen - Eco-Drive light-powered movements, standard quartz, and automatics
- Casio - quartz modules including G-Shock; electronic module replacement where parts are available
- Tissot, Longines - ETA and ETA-derived calibres at all grades
- Tag Heuer, Omega - assessed case by case; complex manufacture calibres may be referred
- Vintage mechanical - manual-wind pocket watches and wristwatches assessed individually

What to Bring
For most repairs, just bring the watch. For a valuable piece, bringing the original box, papers, or any previous service documentation is useful for cross-referencing serial numbers and service history, though we do not require it. If the problem is intermittent - the watch loses time only in certain positions, or stops and restarts - describe when and under what conditions it happens. The more specific you are, the faster the diagnosis.
