Every watch we send out is paid for at the door. The courier hands you the box, you open it, and if you are happy you pay him. If you are not, you hand it back and pay nothing. That is the entire arrangement, and it is the same in Tirana as it is ten minutes from the shop.
In short: free delivery anywhere in Albania, normally 3 to 7 days, cash to the courier when the watch is in your hands, and 30 days to bring it back afterwards. The full policy is on our delivery, payment and returns page, and nothing here contradicts it.
What Cash on Delivery Means Here
Plenty of sellers use the phrase and still ask for something up front. We do not. There is no deposit, no bank transfer and no card number, and there is no field anywhere on this site that would take a card number even if you wanted to give one. The price we agree on WhatsApp is the price the courier collects, in cash, in Lekë.
The order of events is the part that matters. The watch reaches you before your money reaches us. Until you have opened the box, the risk of the sale is ours, and that is deliberate rather than generous.
How an Order Runs, Start to Finish
- Pick the watch. Every product page carries the price in euro and in Lekë, and everything listed is in the shop in Durrës.
- Send a WhatsApp to +355 67 571 6090. Give the model name or the reference. If you have not settled on one, send a budget instead and we will come back with two or three specific models rather than a catalogue.
- We confirm. We check it is in stock, confirm the price, and book the courier.
- It arrives. Normally in 3 to 7 days. You open it, you look at it, you pay the courier.
The message we get most is not about delivery at all. It is somebody describing a person and a budget and asking what would suit. We would rather spend two minutes on that question than have a watch travel to Shkodër and back.
Free Delivery, and the Same Price in Every City
Delivery is free anywhere in Albania: Tirana, Vlorë, Shkodër, Elbasan, Korçë, Fier, Berat, Lushnjë, Gjirokastër, Sarandë and everywhere in between. It runs through a courier we use regularly and normally takes 3 to 7 days.
There is no delivery fee and no different price by city. The number on the product page is the number the courier collects, and it is the same number you would pay standing at the counter in Durrës.
Open the Box at the Door
Look at it properly before you pay. Check that it is the model you ordered, that the dial is the one in the photographs, and that the box and the papers are with it.
If it is not right, hand it straight back to the courier without paying. That costs you nothing and there is no obligation of any kind. Message us afterwards and we will work out what would suit better. One thing worth knowing first: bracelets are adjustable and we take links out free at the counter, so a bracelet that arrives long is a five minute job rather than a reason to send a watch back.
Why We Sell This Way
Because the risk of buying something you have not held should sit with the shop, not the buyer. Nobody two hundred kilometres away has any way of checking whether the photographs are honest, and asking that person to send money first is asking them to trust a stranger for nothing in return.
It is also the difference between this and most of what you will find in a direct message. Pay a private seller in advance and the money is gone the moment the account is. We went through that pattern in our guide to buying a watch on Instagram in Albania. Cash on delivery removes the mechanism entirely: there is nothing to take, because nothing has been sent.
What Happens After You Pay
Paying the courier is not the end of it. You have 30 days to bring the watch back to the shop in Durrës, unworn and in its box, for an exchange or a refund, and that applies to a courier delivery exactly as it does to a counter sale. Every watch is brand new and carries our own 1-year guarantee from the date of purchase, on top of any manufacturer warranty. Both are set out in full in our guide to returns, exchanges and the guarantee.
Two Watches People Order Without Seeing Them First
The Navimarine Steel 5ATM Blue at 75 euro (7,300 L) is the one that travels most. Stainless steel case, deep blue sunburst dial with Roman numeral markers, date display at 3, 5 ATM water resistance and a solid brushed steel bracelet. It photographs the way it looks, which is most of why it comes back so rarely.
At the other end of the counter, the Hislon Classic CL213S-02SS at 199 euro (19,300 L) is the dearest watch we sell: fluted bezel, horizontal-stripe silver dial, sapphire crystal, date window. It goes out on exactly the same terms as everything else. You hand over nineteen thousand three hundred Lekë once it is in front of you, and not a moment before.
Or Come and Collect It
If you would rather not wait, the workshop is on Rruga Aleksander Goga in Durrës, open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 to 20:30, no appointment. You can put two watches side by side on the counter, which is the one thing a photograph never does well. More on that in our honest guide to buying a watch in Durrës.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I really pay nothing until the watch arrives?
Nothing at all. There is no deposit, no bank transfer and no card details, and there is no field anywhere on this site that would take a card number. The courier collects the agreed price in cash at the door, once the box is open and the watch is in your hands. Your money moves after the watch does, which is the whole point of selling this way.
Is there a delivery fee, or a different price outside Durrës?
No to both. Delivery is free anywhere in Albania and the price on the product page is the price the courier collects, whether you are in Tirana, Korçë, Sarandë or ten minutes down the road from the shop. We do not add a delivery fee and we do not price differently by city.
What if I open the box and it is not what I expected?
Hand it straight back to the courier without paying. That costs you nothing and there is no obligation of any kind. Message us afterwards and we will work out what would suit better. One thing worth knowing before you refuse it: bracelets are adjustable and we take links out free at the counter, so a bracelet that arrives long is a five minute job rather than a reason to send the watch back.
How long does delivery take?
Normally 3 to 7 days, through a courier we use regularly. We confirm the watch is in stock before it is booked, so the days you wait are transport rather than us finding it. If you would rather not wait at all, the shop on Rruga Aleksander Goga in Durrës is open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 to 20:30 and you can collect it over the counter.
What happens after I have paid the courier?
You have 30 days to bring the watch back to the shop in Durrës, unworn and in its box, for an exchange or a refund, and that applies to a courier delivery exactly as it does to a counter sale. Every watch is brand new and carries our own 1-year guarantee from the date of purchase, on top of any manufacturer warranty.
